TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the thing that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
